About the P.T.A.


The Association was established in 1973 by Permit Trainers who, at that time, had no representative Association.

It was immediately recognised by the Jockey Club and has continued to be so ever since as the only Association that promotes the interest of Permit Trainers.

During the past 36 years we are proud to have achieved much to the benefit of Permit Trainers and the sport in general.

Members of the BHA Industry Committee since its formation and also the original BHB Industry Committee.
